Overview
What is on it, what it is for, and why it is deliberately not the screen you live in.
The dashboard is the first thing you see after signing in. It answers "how is it going" in about five seconds, and then you go somewhere else.
What is on it
- Four numbers about your pipeline. See The numbers.
- Recent projects, the ones you touched last.
- Tasks, including anything overdue.
- Quick actions, shortcuts to the things people start most often.
What it is not
It is not a report, and it is not configurable. There is no widget library and no dragging things around.
That is a deliberate limit rather than a missing feature. A dashboard you can rearrange is a dashboard people spend time rearranging, and the four numbers here are the ones that answer whether the business is working.
Where the real work happens
The board. The dashboard tells you the temperature; the projects board, filtered to Needs attention, tells you what to do about it.
If you open one screen every morning, open that one.
