Keyboard shortcuts

The command palette, and an honest account of what else is bound.

The command palette

K, or CtrlK on Windows and Linux.

This is the shortcut worth learning, and largely the only one. It opens a searchable list of every destination you are allowed to reach, including several with no sidebar entry at all:

  • Month and Unbilled under Time
  • The project archive
  • Your profile and security screens

Type a few letters, press Enter. It is faster than the sidebar for anything you can name.

What the palette shows

Only what your role and permissions allow. It is filtered the same way the sidebar is, so it never offers you a screen that would refuse you.

Everything else

There is no comprehensive shortcut scheme. No g then p for projects, no single-key navigation.

Where standard browser and platform shortcuts apply they work normally: Tab through forms, Enter to submit, Esc to close a dialog.

The board's drag and drop is fully keyboard operable and announces what it is doing, so moving a project between stages does not require a mouse.

If you want more

Say so. A shortcut scheme is worth building when people are asking for specific ones they would actually use, and worth nothing when it is invented in advance.
